Lonoke Baptist Church Children's Ministry
"See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of the world rather than on Christ." - Col 2:8 (NIV)
This verse is the foundation for everything we do in our Children's Ministry. Everything we do-Sunday School, C2:8 (Children's worship), AWANA, Equipping Classes-has Col. 2:8 as its goal. In a world where families are constantly bombarded with 'hollow and deceptive philosophies', our goal is come along side of the family and help them in fulfilling what I call 'The Christian Parents Creed' as found in Deut. 6:6-9 (if you're not familiar with this passage, please take the time to look it up).
Children's Ministry Opportunities
Sundays:
Sunday School @ 9:30 AM for all ages
C2:8/Wee Church @ 10:45 AM for ages 2- 6th grade (during the school year)
Tuesdays:
Children's Choir for K-6th grade @ 3:30 PM (during the school year)
Wednesdays:
AWANA @ 6:25 PM for ages 2-6th grade (during the school year)
Special Events:
